Creative day (Easter themed)

We invited all the mums, aunties, grandmas and sisters to our creative day. It was a day for ladies in the EYFS. We had lots of creative activities focusing on expressive arts and design and being imaginative. The activities involved decorating eggs, making egg baskets, making book marks, baking and going on an egg hunt. All the ladies who came enjoyed spending time with the children and interacting with other carers.

This half term our trip has been to Skipton castle. we have been learning about castles, kings, queens and knights in our topic. We explored the castle and learnt about its key features and history. We enjoyed looking at the different parts of the castle and named some 3D shapes we could see.

Easter Egg competition

We have had an Easter egg competition this half term. We have been decorating our eggs at home working with our parents and carers.

World book day

On world book day we dressed up as key characters from fairy tales. This theme involved dressing up as a king, queen, princess, knight or dragon. We enjoyed reading a variety of books and talked about our favorite stories.

Dads Day: Men in the early years.

We have invited dads, uncles, brothers and grandads to come and explore the EYFS with us on Friday. Together we are exploring maths through games and fun activities.
