Dads Day: Men in the early years.

We have invited dads, uncles, brothers and grandads to come and explore the EYFS with us on Friday. Together we are exploring maths through games and fun activities.

Trip to Tesco

We went to Tesco and we looked at the different breads the little red hen would like to eat. We decided to buy some bread, jam and butter. We talked about the different foods we could see in the different departments. We were lucky to meet different people who help us. When we got back to school we tasted the different breads and talked about them.

Home school project

Our school project this half term was to construct an emergency vehicle. We worked with our parents and brought our vehicles to school. We all received a

certificate for participating and using a variety of 3D shapes.

Children In Need Day

In reception we have been learning about the importance of children in need. we raised money through non-uniform and selling buns. The children drew pictures of Pudsey bear and talked about why he is important. We decided to celebrate helping children in need by having a catwalk and a Pudsey picnic.

Life Caravan

We visited Harold in the life caravan. We talked about keeping our bodies and minds healthy. We learnt about the different parts in our body and their functions.
