On Friday 17th June, we celebrated OBON Day at Lapage Primary School.
On this day we celebrate how we come together as a nation, not to focus on our differences but on the values we share: tolerance, kiondness, respect, pride and a tremendous desire to help others.
We had an annual picnic lunch in the sunny outdoors. Every year group sang the national anthem and tweets it to Her Majesty the Queen in celebration of her Platinum Jubilee.
